The P & F meet regularly meet each term at St Therese’s Catholic Primary School staffroom. The annual General Meeting is held early in the year at which election of office bearers takes place. The committee consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.  All families with children enrolled at St. Therese’s are members of the P & F and we welcome and encourage all families to attend our meetings and be involved in the future of our P & F.

The Parents and Friends organise other sub committees that all parents are asked to be involved with throughout the school year if they wish. These include: Open Nights, Working Bee’s, Dairy Festival Committee, Grants Committee, Father’s Day event, Mother’s Day event, St Therese’s Christmas Fair etc.

Some of the ways the P&F give back to the St. Therese’s school community are:

• Catering for the Semester 1 and Semester 2 Open Nights

• Donated the senior shirts to the year six class 

• Provided the leaving seniors with a free graduation meal and gift

• Supplied and catered the food for the last day of the year celebrations

• Gifts for leaving teachers and staff

• Plus other numerous donations to the school.

 

The P & F would like to make families aware that the P & F levy paid in the school fees are not passed on to the P&F committee.  We try as a committee to keep our fundraising to a minimum and hold fundraisers with a view to grow other, more social areas of our P&F.
